Description
The Galician band Trilitrate has set out to compose and perform the folk music of a world that is yet to be discovered. The soundtrack of a film that no one could ever shoot: a kind of lost discourse between Fitzcarraldo’s humanistic epic and the narrative ellipses of Battleship Potemkin.
Frutal Death reeks of the 20th century, and that’s why it oscillates between contemporary music, world music, Balkan folk, neoclassical, and earthy rhythms. Fifty minutes of deep, energetic, wild pieces that serve as a testament to the incredible creative moment of the Galician trio.
